Coming from the village of New Inn in East Galway, Marie Dolan grew up in a home full of Irish Traditional Music and has performed regularly from a young age.

In recent years, Marie has been working on her debut album of Irish traditional songs and folk songs. The album entitled ‘The Right Time’ is due for release in February 2023.

Marie recently featured, singing on the new album by Music Matters Orchestra in Loughrea, which was released in 2021.
Marie has sung over the years, at many traditional music concerts including An tAmhrán Beo at the Crinniú na mBád Festival in Kinvara, Co. Galway.
She also performed with Scottish singer songwriter Bob Mc Neill and in 2008 Marie was invited to sing with Bob on his album entitled ‘Me and Mary Ann’.
Marie received a Masters of Arts (Hons) in Irish Traditional Music Performance from The University of Limerick in 2008. During this time, she developed her unique style and repertoire.
Marie was an entertainer in Dunguaire Castle, Kinvara and in Bunratty Castle, Co. Clare. Marie was a solo vocalist with Ragús the Irish Traditional Music show in the Olympia theatre in Dublin.
